Aptos is a Layer 1 blockchain designed for high throughput and scalability. Built with the Move programming language, it aims to provide faster transaction processing and lower costs compared to existing blockchain networks. 

TPS (transactions per second) is calculated as the number of transactions in the period divided by the total seconds in the period. 

Aptos: Transaction Count

The number of unique addresses that paid a transaction fee in the period. The total for each period is split between addresses active for the first time in the current period (New) and wallets active in any prior period (Existing).

Active addresses should not be used to measure "user" activity. It is an easily, and commonly, gamed metric that does not translate to the number of unique people or entities using a blockchain.

* Other Modules is all other modules that are not top 10 activity modules grouped into a single bucket.

- A single registration is tied to one module, package registrations may change many things within a module.
- A module may have many registration, especially if the functions are in development.
- The number of deployers is the number of unique wallets that pushed a package registration.

If it helps, think of a package as an EVM contract, except where contracts are immutable, packages and modules are mutable.

Package Registrations allow Deployers to change/deploy Modules (you can consider a module to be akin to an EVM contract).

This is the *count* of all transfers of APT to or from the CEX wallets on chain.

### Wallets are Grouped by Average Balance to show:
 - Number of transactions total.
 - Total amount of gas spent.
 - Number of unique wallets.
 - Number of unique modules interacted with.
 - Number of unique functions interacted with.

The Storage Fee covers the cost of persistently storing data on Aptos. The Storage Fee is comparable to a deposit, rather than a fee payment, as it is refunded in full to the transacting user when the associated storage slot is deleted.

Aptos - Wallet Balances

Shows the amount of bytes stored in the most recent version of all move table handles and how much was deleted from move tables.

Show the cumulative size of all changes to the move table state, regardless of current state in GB/day.

Aptos - Move Table Throughput

Storage deposits are included within the transaction fee on Aptos even though they are redeemable deposits. In contrast, Execution Fees and IO Fees are payments made by users to cover the cost of transaction execution. Execution Fees and IO Fees are permanently burned in full.
